You may have heard this statistic: 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. According to expert bra fitter, Kimmay Caldwell, who has fitted thousands of women over the past 14 years, women with larger busts are even more likely to be wearing the wrong sized bra. Needless to say, it can be difficult to find bras for large breasts (especially if you have a small ribcage and small band size).
"People with a fuller bust are more apt to wear a size and style that doesn't fit well, because their options are limited at the store or they have no idea that an F or G cup may exist," Caldwell told Seventeen. If you have big boobs, you need even more options for customization to make sure that your bra is supporting a heavy bust, offering back support, and potentially fitting a smaller frame — after all, most of the support from a bra actually comes from the band.
"The thing is that people with a smaller bust, who may require less support, can often 'get away' with wearing a bra that is slightly off. But when a bra is even slightly off for someone with a fuller bust, it's often more painful or obvious underneath clothing,” says Caldwell.
So to make sure you're getting the best possible bra for your bust, we chatted with experienced icons to find the best bras in the biz from model Iskra Lawrence to content creator Nabela Noor who gave us their expert recs on the best bras for girls with large busts. On the hunt for t-shirt bras, bras with full coverage and thick bands, or hidden-gem cheap bras that actually do work? Below are the cutest and most supportive bras for large breasts.

Pros
- Pretty pattern options
- Large range of cup sizes available
Cons
- Band might feel tight
Band Size: 34 - 46
Cup Size: DD - N
Caldwell loves this bra, because of the extra wide band. She says that's actually the secret to major support.
"The real support of any bra comes from the band. So make sure that the band is supportive – which may mean a little taller with a few more hooks, or made of a firmer material. That may sound boring or like 'too much' bra, but most commonly it's really what helps the whole bra provide super support."
